The Internal Fire - Museum of Power

This museum, based in Wales, is a collection of internal combustion engines, mostly larger stationary diesel engines, as used for generating sets and pumping stations.

Also located within the same museum is an amateur radio station GB2MOP which in 2006 started collecting and displaying military HF radio equipment.  This was initiated by a family member who had served in the Royal Signals in WWII.  After a few false starts the new room is the start of a much larger display intended to cover all uses of HF plus a new Amateur Radio section for use by clubs and visiting license holders.

Also, as part of this latter activity, a good selection of Marconi Marine (MIMCO) equipment and documentation has been amassed and a listing of this can be viewed here.
